Onboarding
The onboarding of an employee is perhaps the most critical period in their tenure with an organization. The first year with a company sets the tone for that employee’s engagement and must be effective in bringing them into the culture of the organization. Our onboarding services can support the development of an overall onboarding plan, including the creation of a roadmap, accountability matrix, guide for managers, and orientation program. The onboarding plans cover a 6–12-month period with key milestones to check in on new staff to gauge their experience and engagement beyond the first thirty days.
Executive Onboarding
We can also support the development of an individual onboarding program for leaders so they can have an impactful and strategic first year in their role. We work with the leader to conduct an in-depth leadership assessment that will define their achievements, purpose, values, and strengths to draw upon in the new role. This may be accompanied by the use of psychometric tools. The assessment is complimented by individual coaching sessions over a 6–12-month period, where the leader is able to think out loud in a confidential space about the change management needed to succeed and how to implement their vision within the organization by working with other leaders. Included in this coaching would be additional space for the leader to bring issues, opportunities, and dilemmas to the coach to for processing through the coaching container.
